Are you tired of a politics that feels completely hopeless? Are you fed up with the constant race to the bottom by our elected representatives? If you said yes to any of these, then you’re not alone.
As your newest local representative in the ACT Legislative Assembly, Rebecca Vassarotti is right there with you.
That’s why, this time around in the Assembly, she's trying to do things differently to change how we do politics.
Alongside community leader Tim Hollo, she will be hosting a series of participatory democracy town halls to direct her work and put the tools for change in your hands.
In small group sessions, we’ll co-design real solutions for Canberra and Kurrajong, then use Rebecca's role in Parliament to support and enable you to make them happen.
This is our moment to unite, break free from the old politics, and connect different parts of our community rooted in mutual understanding.
Together, we can map out a clear plan of action—for each other and for Rebecca—to build a Canberra that works for everyone, no matter our background, colour, or creed.
