Join us for pizza and politics at the Pot Belly Pub. We'll chat about the latest on adaptation and how we can look after our community's health in a changing climate.

Join ACT Greens Deputy Leader Jo Clay and Member for Yerrabi Andrew Braddock for pizza and politics at the Pot Belly Pub.

Andrew and Jo will join Michael Singer, Senior Manager of Operations at St John Ambulance ACT to discuss how we'll build resilience in the face of the climate crisis and more severe weather events.

Andrew will give us the latest on a heating climate, where governments are up to in terms of adaptation and some of the likely health impacts this will have.

Michael will tell us about how we can better prepare ourselves and look after our community and some of his insights into community resilience and preparation.

And Jo will prompt discussion about how we can work together to get the ACT Government to listen, turn all your great ideas into a reality, and make a real difference.

This event is open to members and non-members alike. Free pizza and chips, drinks available at the bar. Join us and meet some amazing progressives in your area - and we'll also be organising lifts for Rising Tide Newcastle to help you join Australia's biggest climate action.
