Join ACT Greens Deputy Leader and member for Ginninderra Jo Clay to chat with our community about the issues that matter to them.

We'll be chatting to the community and getting signatures to support a Hawker College petition calling for a dedicated school bus.

The students at Hawker College are asking Government to make the bus easier to catch to and from school. Currently the 45 bus route is the only service for the school but it is incredibly full once the school day ends.

Often the first bus running in either direction after school releases will be so full of students that other members of the public cannot get on or are forced to stand in dangerous locations.

Not everyone has access to a car or lives within walking distance of the school, and the current system disadvantages these students. It also discourages others in the community who need to catch the bus from doing so during these peak times.

So we're helping them out and getting the community to back their petition!
