Matt Grudnoff is a senior economist at the Australia Institute. Matt has published widely on taxation & tax concessions, the federal Budget, poverty, inequality and housing affordability.
Matt will talk about out why one of the richest nations on the planet is struggling to afford basic services. He'll speak about fossil fuel extraction taxes, Australia's declining GST and how these are contributing to the growing gap between rich and poor. Then we'll unpack what the ACT Greens are doing at a local level and how you can speak up to your leaders about it.
