Greens budget reply - You are invited

An evening with Greens MLAs at the Legislative Assembly

Shane Rattenbury will deliver the Greens’ Budget Reply speech at 5pm on Thursday 26 June at the Legislative Assembly.

Cheer him on (silently) from the public gallery inside the Legislative Assembly chamber, then come up to the MLAs offices for some drinks, snacks and political chats.

The Greens sit on the crossbench this term with sole balance of power. Labor’s minority government will need our support to pass their budget, and you’ll be the first to hear our early reflections and the kinds of changes we’ll be seeking to look after local people and the ACT’s precious natural environments.

Date: Thursday, 26th June

Time: Arrive at 5pm to pass through security and take your seats in the Legislative Assembly chamber. The speech will begin promptly at 5.20pm, for around 20 minutes, after which we’ll adjourn upstairs for refreshments, wrapping up around 7pm.

REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL! There is limited seating in the public gallery and we want to make sure that if you come along, you’ll have a seat
