On climate change, refugees, housing and planning and so much more, our politics is failing us. But a better way is possible, if we open the doors and bring the people in. With 2018 wrapping up, come and tell us what matters to you and how Canberrans can be involved in deciding our future, together.
A public meeting for Canberra. For too long, Canberra has been taken for granted by federal politicians. But, by getting our committed, caring community involved, we can make it a beacon for a better way of doing politics. This is the first of a series of public meetings between now and the federal election to bring the people of Canberra closer to the decisions that matter to them. It will be moderated by Toni Hassan with contributions from the Canberra Alliance for Participatory Democracy and Tim Hollo, Executive Director of the Green Institute and Greens candidate for the new seat of Canberra. We're doing politics differently - starting with the people, not big corporations. Come along and let's set the agenda for Canberra together.
