Developers Stockland and John Boyd have submitted plans to transform the former Kogarah Golf Course—a vital riverfront green space—into a heavy industrial hub, complete with a massive "logistics hub" and an AI data center.

The Cooks River is a recovering ecosystem, providing sanctuary for native wildlife and flora. This proposal threatens the river with pollution and runoff, and would see over 800 native trees destroyed, wiping out crucial habitat.

Why We Must Resist:

•  Hyperscale AI data centers consume massive amounts of water and power, emit toxic waste and generate constant relentless noise pollution.
• A hotel, logistics centre and heavy infrastructure will permanantly damage our scenic green haven.
• These projects prioritise corporate profits over everyday people, putting enormous strain on our power grid, water security, local economy and generating demand for fossil fuel expansion.

We are calling on the community to unite and fight back!

We demand thay developments on local land must proritise the river, biodiversity and community wellbeing over corporate greed. This isn't just a local issue, its a critical fight for climate justice across NSW and Australia.
