The Tax Gas campaign has captured a moment in Australia's politics where the major parties have failed. Where big gas companies make billions in profits, they pay little or no tax, while the resources they sell are cooking the planet. By taxing gas fairly, we can source vital funds for things Australia needs, or lower taxes for regular working people. Now is the time to seize the momentum, hold the government to account, and get a fair price for the resources that all Australians own.
