With spring just around the corner, it's a great time for a get-together. One Nation say that they are "coming after Western Sydney"--so who do they think we are? Let's have a meet-and-greet as Westies, proud of who we are and determined to stand united and strong for things that matter, like decent housing, affordable rents, lower energy bills, keeping kids out of jail, supporting mob, protecting country, and not letting data centres ruin our neighbourhoods.

This is a Blacktown Greens community connections event. We're community people, so what matters to you matters to us. Unlike the major parties we don't accept political donations from big corporations--we're a people-powered movement. We invite you to this BBQ so that we can listen to you and maybe share a little bit about what we stand for too.

 This will be a family-friendly, culturally safe and inclusive event. First Nations people are especially welcome. Halal food will also be available.

Please head to the main picnic area and look out for a member wearing a Greens t-shirt who will tell you where we are. In case of uncertain weather, please check your email before setting out in case of cancellation. 

This event is fully wheelchair accessible. Parkland with sealed paths. The Blacktown Council website notes that the Reserve is accessible.

Please contact the event organiser with any accessibility requests as early as possible so that suitable arrangements can be discussed and organised where possible.
