Multinational gas corporations are ripping us off. Over half of Australia’s gas is exported without paying a cent in royalties, and these companies make billions while ordinary Aussies are told to tighten our belts.

But if we taxed gas exports, we could make over $17 billion a year. Money for schools, hospitals and the transition to clean, secure energy.

That’s why the Greens are fighting for a minimum 25% export tax on gas revenue.

Labor keeps choosing corporate donors over you. Companies like Santos give thousands in donations to the major parties - while paying $0 in corporate tax.

Meanwhile, nearly every Australian Resources Minister since 2001 has gone on to work for a fossil fuel company. These aren’t donations, they’re investments.

Let’s break the grip that the gas lobby has on our politics.
