GREENS FOR GLENORCHY & HOBART: Double Doorknock and BBQ!

This October, we have a chance to elect candidates who have a vision for a fairer, Greener, and more affordable future for Hobart and Glenorchy. 

Join us for a huge DOUBLE DOORKNOCK and lunch to meet your candidates and help get them a seat at the table in the October Local Government elections!

Doorknocking will begin at 10am. We will come back together for a barbecue around 12. A second round of doorknocking will then kick off around 1pm. We'll finish the day with a debrief. Join us for one round of doorknocking, or for the whole day, or just for lunch! Doorknocking is not required to join us for the barbecue.

Vegan and halal options will be provided.

Doorknocking is the most effective way to swing people to the Greens. 

We know that 1 in 3 conversation SWINGS A VOTE. All it takes is a smiling Greens volunteer and you don't have to be a policy expert!

If you have never doorknocked before, we provide training and pair you up with an experienced doorknocker so you will be well looked after. 

Bring warm clothing if it's looking a little chilly, a hat/water bottle if it's hot and raincoat and umbrella if it looks like there will be a bit of rain.
