Aunty Esther Montgomery: A proud Mardathoonera Yindjibarndi person, Aunty Esther Montgomery has 50 years of experience in activism across the country. From the Land Rights movement to LGBTQIA+ rights and everything in between, Aunty Esther has been a staunch voice for the rights of people in this country for decades.
Dr Mehreen Faruqi: As Deputy Leader of the Australian Greens and Senator for NSW, Mehreen brings her experience as an engineer and academic to Parliament, working to tackle climate change, inequality, and divisive politics so we can all live a good life – no matter your bank balance or where you come from.
Sisonke Msimang: Sisonke Msimang is a published author of two books and many essays on race, gender, creativity, and democracy. Sisonke is passionate about using their voice to lead conversations that challenge injustice and inequality.
Dr Mohammed Mustafa: Dr Mohammed Mustafa is an English-Australian emergency physician trainee of Palestinian heritage whose courageous humanitarian work has brought critical attention to the healthcare crisis in conflict zones. Coming from a Palestinian refugee family, Dr Mustafa pursued medical training across Britain and Australia, embodying a lifelong commitment to human rights and care for the world's most marginalised.
Sophie McNeill (facilitator): Sophie McNeill is an award-winning journalist, author, human rights advocate and climate campaigner. After a diverse career working for TV programs including ABC’s Four Corners and Foreign Correspondent, as well as Human Rights Watch and Greenpeace, Sophie was elected to the Western Australian Legislative Council as a representative for The Greens (WA) in 2025.
Mothin Ali (special online address): Deputy Leader of the Green Party of England and Wales, Mothin is an anti-racist campaigner who launched the DigItOut campaign to tackle racism in horticulture. Mothin is a vocal critic of Islamophobia in public policy.
