RANDWICK BOTANY GREENS INVITE YOU TO JOIN GREENS MPS ABIGAIL BOYD AND AMANDA COHN IN CONVERSATION

This is an opportunity for you to support our MPs, hear about the pressing issues in their portfolios and ask questions.

Abigail teamed up with 4 Corners in 2025 to uncover systemic flaws in the early childhood sector and has recently forced the release of documents showing Port Kembla is being considered for an AUKUS submarine base.

Amanda is fighting to update laws that discriminate against LGBTQIA+ people and is pushing back against the attack on legalised abortion and women’s reproductive rights.

Abigail is a current State MP and will be running as an upper house candidate for The Greens in the 2027 State election. She is also a lawyer. Like all our MPs, she has so many balls in the air at once. To mention a couple more, Abigail recently called out the enormous energy usage of unregulated AI data centres and has brought down a report critical of the State Government’s undue reliance on the big 4 consultancies.

Abigail’s portfolio responsibilities include: Treasury, Finance & Economy; Industry, Jobs & Trade; Work Health & Safety; Energy & Just Transitions; Gendered Violence & Abuse; Animal Welfare; Disability Rights & Inclusion; and Arts & Creative Industries.

Amanda is a current Upper House State MP and medical doctor. The latter makes her particularly qualified to comment on issues related to health.  The NSW mental health inquiry she chaired brought down recommendations to move from a police-led to a health-led response to crises in mental health.

Amanda’s portfolio responsibilities include: Health (incl Mental Health); LGBTQIA+; Youth; Local Government; Emergency Services; Waste; Sport & Recreation; and Air quality.
