Litter clean-up - Mackay Harbour Beach

Join your fellow Greens in Mackay for a litter clean-up of Mackay's Harbour Beach! There may be an opportunity for a coffee or sausage sizzle afterward, depending on interest. We'd be grateful for your help! Read below for the exact meeting location.

Getting there:

Meet at the southern-most dirt carpark at the very end of East Point Drive (see map), at Mackay Harbour Beach.

Directions:

Drive along Ron Seale Drive until you come to the roundabout at Mackay Harbour/Marina. At the roundabout, turn right onto East Point Drive. Follow East Point Drive southward - past the surf club, past the new Mulherin Park and through the new "Dunes" housing estate (don't turn off East Point Drive at any point) - and eventually the bitumen will end and the dirt road will take you to a large carpark at the beach. What to bring:

Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a Greens t-shirt or other comfortable clothing (we can supply a Greens t-shirt if you want), gloves (if you have them, otherwise collect a pair from us), and a water-bottle.

If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to contact the event organiser directly to let them know there will be someone under 18 attending.
