An online town hall to unpack the Inquiry and discuss why we need an export tax on gas and how we can win it

The big gas corporations are ripping us off. Corporations like Santos, Woodside and Chevron are making bank and profiting off the war, all while barely paying anything in tax.

Now is our moment to change this.

Greens Senator Steph Hodgins-May is chairing an Inquiry into taxing these mega profitable corporations.

Join us in conversation with Greens Leader Larissa Waters, Richard Denniss, executive director of the Australia Institute and other experts to unpack why we need a 25% export tax on gas revenue and how we could use the $17 billion dollars a year it would generate to transition off fossil fuels and relieve cost of living.

This event will be after the first day of Inquiry Hearings and our panel will bring you the inside scoop.

Learn how you can take action to pressure the government to take up this critical opportunity to tax gas corporations and provide urgent cost of living relief to the Australian community ahead of the May budget.
