The evening will include a film screening of the highlights of the first Global Greens Conference in Canberra in 2001, followed by a short discussion panel including Peter Whish-Wilson, Christine Milne, Margaret Blakers and Michelle Sheather.
Join us online from 6:00pm AEST for a 6.15pm start, the film screening at 6.30pm and the panel discussion from 7.30pm. (If you are in Canberra at this time you can attend the in-person watch party which you can register for here Global Greens 25th Anniversary Watch Party (ACT) | The Greens.)
Then on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 April the Global Greens are hosting a truly global celebration of the 25th Anniversary with another online event involving all international Greens federations. You can find out more and register here: https://globalgreens.org/25-years/.
These events provide a great opportunity for people to learn more about the Global Greens, understand more about our history of formation, the complexities of forming a global agreement and the sheer joy of attaining it, and how we work together.
