Join the Greens Stall at the largest regional queer festival in Victoria!

It's been a massive year for the Queer Greens, with some incredible wins on protecting our community from vilification, including queer people in the census for the first time & reforms on intersex interventions.

But we can't stop here: across the country, queer rights - particularly the right for trans youth to access health care and support - are under threat. With increasing polling for far-right fringe groups, it is more important than ever that we show up with strength and numbers to show that queer rights are non-negotiable.

Join us out for a fun day at a stall at a queer event, helping bring wonderful vibes, hearing out concerns from the community, and letting them know about our big campaigns.

What Is ChillOut Festival?: ChillOut Festival is regional Australia's largest and longest running country queer pride event, and is hosted annually in Daylesford. It runs over multiple days, though we'll only have our stall on the market day (Sun 8 March).

What Does Volunteering Entail: We will need your help for at least one 2-hour shift to help ensure our tables have active, energetic volunteers who can direct our supporters to our petitions and materials. You don't need to be a political pro - we will have the details for you on the day, and an experienced activist on hand to answer any questions.

Typically, we like to have enough volunteers to always enable a few people to have a break and some nice long chats with people who approach the stall, and each other. It's always a lot of fun!

Allies Welcome!

What to Wear: Fabulous and Green, but proudly no dress code enforced. We have materials on the day to glam up your look. Just remember to dress for a warm day!

What's Next: After registering, a volunteer coordinator will be in touch to help organise your best shift times, and give a quick briefing.

Timing: The event runs from 12pm-6pm, but our set up is from 11am. A small handful of volunteers will be volunteering for the set up time.

Finding Us: Once we have our stall location from the organisers, we'll put it here and send an email around to our rsvp'd volunteers.

Accessibility: There will be accessible, portable toilets and changing rooms on site on the day.
