Join the Queer Greens for our fabulous march for Midsumma!
It's been a great year for the Queer Greens, with some big wins on intersex rights, and better protections from vilification. There's also a lot to be concerned about: rising poll numbers for One Nation, and restriction on access to healthcare for children mean it's more important than ever for us to show for our community, and to fight for our rights.
Allies are welcome, but registrations are essential in order to tell the event organisers of our total numbers marching.
Getting There: Midsumma is a big event with some road and bicycle closures. The Midsumma page has the advice on best drop off locations, accessible drop-offs, and even advice for bicycles.

What to Wear: Dress fabulous and loud and Green! We've seen ribbons, frocks, wigs, hot pants, and crop tops, campaign shirts and fabulous face paint. Remember to dress for heat!
Restrictions: The event is not allowing glitters, balloons, or formal workplace uniforms. You can read more about these rules on their page, but this won't be relevant to Greens-branded materials.
Arrival Time: TBC - between 8:30am-10:30am
All marching groups will have arrival and marshalling times between 8:30am-10:30am - we will be informed of our required arrival time by the organisers in mid-January. This event page and registered participants will be updated when we've been informed of the time.
