Queer Bloom: Poetry Fundraiser

The theme is “Queer Bloom”, with open mic slots for poets. That means we want YOUR poem about queer growth, joy or discovery. If you’d like an open mic slot, please email pride@wa.greens.org.au. If you have a poem, as an LGBTQIA+ person or an ally, we’d love to hear it!

The venue is wheelchair accessible, with accessible, gender-neutral toilets available. We’ll be on the Terrace, which is open-air, but you are welcome to wear a mask if you choose to. There is space indoors that we won’t be using for the event if you need a quiet or low-sensory area.

If you’re interested in sharing a poem, please be mindful of topics that may be heavy or challenging for listeners, and be aware that this event is not age-restricted. As an attendee be mindful that there will potentially be adult themes to the poetry.

There will also be a raffle, with non-alcoholic refreshments available for purchase and catered snacks provided. All funds raised go towards our Pride Fair Day stall and Pride Parade float.
